Aged Care
The products we install in aged care facilities are similar to those in child care centres with an emphasis on sport facilities such as synthetic grass bowling rinks, croquet lawns and mini golf courses.
The synthetic grass we use for these types of sports include long pile sand filled and short pile non-directional. Synthetic grass is also used where traditionally natural turf would be installed. It provides a low maintenance solution and at the same time looking and feeling good underfoot.
Some facilities have have dementia units and to provide a safe, level, slip resistant surface outside wet pour rubber (with our without impact attanuation Softfall®) is frequently specified.
Many retirement villages have play equipment installed and even though aged care centres are privately owned, the play spaces must comply with the relevant Australian Standards and Softfall® surfacing must be installed wherever it is deemed necessary by the standards.
